Assistance with Campus / District Program Planning Review: |
| |
We work with academic and service departments to analyze the current conditions of their programs, including immediate facilities issues. |
| |
Preparation of Educational Master Plans: |
| |
We provide leadership and support for the process of determining the long-range academic and service goals of the institution, the potential for growth, and the relationship to the surrounding educational “audience.” |
| |
Analysis of Existing Facilities: |
| |
We provide detailed facilities assessments, capacity / load ratios, strategies for developing maximum full-time-equivalent students (FTES), and planning for Scheduled Maintenance and Deferred Maintenance Programs. |
| |
Preparation of Facilities Master Plans: |
| |
We translate the Educational Master Plan into facilities needs, planning for the most effective use of existing facilities and site improvements; and a Master Plan for future additions, modernizations, and non-building changes to accomplish the educational and community goals for the institution. |
| |
Preparation & Submittal of Planning Documents: |
| |
We create state-required planning documents (primarily using State software (FUSION) including development and maintenance of Space Inventory, Five-year Construction Plans, Initial Project Proposals (IPP), Final Project Proposals (FPP), and projects funded with non-State resources. |
| |
Agency Approval Planning: |
| |
We plan for the approval of projects by agencies in addition to the Department of Education, including Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Division of the State Architect (DSA), Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC), regional flood control, regional and local planning agencies, local utilities, etc. |
| |
Project Delivery Planning: |
| |
We plan for the most effective method of providing project design and construction services based on the size and nature of the project, the goals of the institution, and the applicable provisions of public contracting codes. |
| |
Public Information: |
| |
We provide interactive communication with campus administration, faculty/staff/students, oversight and advisory committees, Boards of Trustees, community groups, and public agencies. |
| Bond Campaign Support: |
