Mark Keppel High School
Comprehensive facility solutions start with comprehensive programming and planning
When our client initiated the programming for Mark Keppel High School, BRJ recognized the potential for more defined and comprehensive programming. By collaborating closely with the high school faculty and staff, their needs were better defined. BRJ then helped the District program the scope for the school that fit within the program budget for a more comprehensive solution.
Modernization and expansion of existing comprehensive high school. Modernization projects included the library, girl’s team room, auditorium and classroom. New projects included the parking lot, science/ classroom building, gymnasium, music/classroom building. Additional projects included new campus-wide infrastructure, site improvements, and miscellaneous improvements.
Coordination of modernization and new construction within the confines of educational programs throughout the entire campus. Campus was constructed in 1938 with hazmat and as-built explorations. Managing the client expectation and general contractor to budget restraints.
