Maintenance and Operations Facility

Facilities are also tools for learning

Besides the underground work being constructed to support future expansion, the most essential construction was the new Maintenance & Operation facilities. Programmed to meet the needs of the future master plan, its construction was planned in advance of other projects to ensure the client could continue to support and maintain their existing facilities as well as the new facilities as they came online.

Comprises of constructing a single new building, site utilities/infrastructure, landscaping, site paving, and demolishing the current M&O building. Also, included in this project is a smaller new building (M&O Custodial) with custodial, shop and office space sufficient to accommodate M&O ‘s current needs. Both buildings will have CMU walls with open-web steel frame trusses and built-up flat roofs.
